Memoirs of a Peanut
I was once happily seated pretty in my shell
Deep under a comfortable bed of soil
Until one day at the end of the season
A hand roughly pulled me out,
Shook me vigorously!
I thought that was the end.

I was separated from my mother Branch
I had no life support thereon
Then I heard my shell, my only shelter!, being cracked open!
And with little or no care at all!
I gasped for air

Happy finally that I was out
What a lovely breath of fresh air out here, I thought.
But I was so wrong,
In a twinkle of an eye I was tossed into some dark warm hole
Full of scary white teeth, of which one was wroten
I knew where I was, then ………………
